On Monday evening, the senior SRC was asked to assist with year 6 into year 7 evening. Students conducted tours around the school for new parents and perspective year 7 2025 students. The SRC students did very well in answering questions from parents and promoting the school. Well-done and thank you for all your effort.
SRC students attended a staff meeting to promote the recycling initiative to staff and encourage the school community to continue to recycle their water bottles. We encourage all students to do their best and only put bottles in the white lid bins.
On Thursday 21st March the SRC went to a leadership conference hosted by Youth Leadership Academy Australia at the ICC Darling Harbour. We joined in with 1800 students participating in this event from a variety of schools and had the opportunity to network and make new relationships. We listened to speakers on resilience and leadership and had opportunities to contribute and learn new skills. A worthwhile experience which was motivating and provided new ideas for SRC for the year ahead.
