Mr Liu, Ms Maharaj, Ms Paleothodoros and I were thrilled to attend the Minister’s Awards for Excellence at Town Hall on Tuesday 5 September, where we were able to acknowledge the outstanding achievements of Sofia Nolan. A fantastic event that showcased and celebrated excellence across our Public Schools.

Sofia Nolan is an exceptional young Australian who has contributed with distinction to her school and local community. Her excellence in academic, and sporting achievement, exemplary citizenship, generosity of spirit and remarkable personal integrity make her a most worthy recipient of this prestigious award. As Vice-Captain, Sofia is celebrated by the entire school community as a committed and compassionate leader within and beyond the school. She has coordinated whole-school projects and community-based fundraising initiatives that have positively impacted our school and offered immense service to external organisations such as the Leukaemia Foundation. Sofia is a most worthy recipient of this award.
