We were absolutely delighted to open our gates to 102 elderly community members and 36 students in our first Intergenerational Morning Tea. Ms Sally Sitou MP inspired this opportunity, and we were very quick to respond and accept her invitation to host as we understand the power of connection for our amazing students. Our brilliant Ms Anderson set a spectacular scene together with the wonderful Ms Da Silva and Mr Miller leading our dynamic Hospitality Team. Our talented Vice Captains - Youngsun Yoo and Pooja Kamalesh were fantastic hosts with our Captain Natalia Costis–Halkidis sharing a reflection from an Ms Camilla Lynch, one of the first students to have enrolled in 1952! Such a compelling story! Our amazing student leaders Sienna Martino and Roukaya Ayoub also stole the show by challenging our guests to guess what the expressions used commonly by youth really signify. There were student performances, trivia, prizes and so much more! We were delighted to have the wonderful Mayor of Strathfield, Ms Karen Pensabene also join us for the event! Fantastic community partnerships!
