Congratulations to three of our 2018 Year 12 HSC Visual Arts students, Kate Wu, Junnie Wang and Soyun Jung have received very high results in their HSC Visual Arts and have gained places in the annual Artexpress exhibition.
Artexpress is a very prestigious exhibition that showcases the best and most successful HSC Visual Arts student art works. From approximately 10,000 students who study Visual Arts across NSW, around 200 student’s works are selected for exhibition. Artexpress is on at several venues throughout the year, starting in January with the opening exhibition at the Art Gallery of New South Wales.
The following Strathfield Girls High School artworks are on display at Artexpress this year;
Kate Wu – “Where the Horizon Lies”, Ceramics – Art Gallery of New South Wales
Soyun Jung – “Mr Crowley’s Office”, Drawing – The Armoury Gallery, Newington
Junnie Wang – “Sporadic Murder”, Drawing – Bathurst Regional Gallery and Tamworth Regional Gallery
