In Term 3, Years 9 and 10 were working on a Videos for Change project in their Vitae Lampada classes. This involved the students working in small groups to create a one minute video on an issue that they felt strongly about. A screening of the videos was held at a combined Years 9/10 assembly and, at the end of last term, we submitted our best videos to the Videos for Change competition.
We have just received news that one of our students' videos -Sustainable Fishing - has been selected to go through to the finals in this year's Videos for Change competition! How fantastic! This video will be in the People's Choice Award and Junior prize categories.
Our very best congratulations for this outstanding achievement go to Jasmine Gallagher, Chantelle Pak and Emily Wilcox from 9VITP, the students who produced this very creative and unique video.
