Principal's message
Welcome to Strathfield Girls High School, where we empower young women to become confident, ethical leaders and lifelong learners. With a rich history since 1953 and a diverse community representing 57 cultural groups, we foster a culture of high expectations and personal growth.
We focus on personalised learning through explicit teaching and targeted literacy and numeracy support, while promoting leadership development for both students and staff. Our commitment to attendance, data-driven practice, and professional growth ensures every student has the opportunity to succeed.
Our strong community partnerships and innovative programs prepare students for further education, work, and responsible citizenship. Together, we proudly uphold our motto, “Pass on the Torch of Life,” as we inspire students to make a positive impact on the world.
